Skin In The Fifties featuring Restored Flesh Merchant (2-DVD)
Original DVD Release Date: January 08, 2008

Retro Seduction Cinema presents Skin in the Fifties – a 2-DVD collection of rare bump’n’grind nudie movies from the buttoned-up and conservative 1950s.  The Flesh Merchant - a “lost” sexploitation classic from 1956 seeing its first ever release - relies on scenes of scantily clad women and features an especially creative disrobing sequence by Joy Reynolds involving a sheet and a chair.  Director W. Merle Connell is best known for the 1952 sci-fi girly film Untamed Woman.  The Flesh Merchant and bonus 1950s loop collection are all re-mastered from newly discovered film elements.

DISC 1: The Flesh Merchant  (1956 – 2008 Restored Version)

Nancy Walker travels to Hollywood in hopes of furthering her modeling career. Instead, the sexy and beautiful young woman is tricked into working at a seedy sex club where horny male customers reward her with money, clothes and jewelry in exchange for her companionship and “cooperation.” Nancy soon discovers that her sister Paula also works at the club/brothel, which is run by sleazy pimp Sogel and his violent partner Perrini.  Sick and tired of their perverted clients, the two sisters turn against flesh merchant Sogel in a furious scene-stealing climax that shocked ‘50s audiences.

DISC 2: Skin in the Fifties: The Loop Collection. Over 20 burlesque and coin-op nudie loops featuring Virginia Bell, Chen, Stacy Farrell and many more!
