The Pop Cinema / Something Weird collaboration continues with Volume 3: I, a Woman Part II / The Daughter: I, a Woman Part III Double Feature!

Swedish cinematographer Mac Ahlberg climbed into the director’s chair for the first time with the 1965 erotic feature I, a Woman, resulting in a ground-breaking erotic film that would spawn countless imitations.

He would go on to helm both official sequels - I, a Woman Part II and The Daughter: I, a Woman Part III – before relocating to Los Angeles to work primarily as a cinematographer in the 1970s.  Long considered the highlights of his career, it is with great pleasure Pop Cinema and Something Weird present newly restored collector’s edition Blu-ray and DVD editions of the I, a Woman sequels to Home Entertainment.

When the Swedish-Danish film I, a Woman was released to theaters in 1965, it shocked audiences around the world with its frank depiction of female sexuality, swiftly becoming one of the most financially successful erotic dramas of the time.  Spawning countless imitations, new HD restorations of the two official sequels - I, a Woman Part II and The Daughter, I a Woman Part III - are now available as on Blu-ray and DVD from Pop Cinema and Something Weird.

I, a Woman Part II – Tormented by her loveless marriage to a depraved antique dealer, sensualist Siv seeks consolation in a series of sexual encounters before uncovering her husband’s dark secret.

The Daughter: I, A Woman Part III - Copenhagen’s decadent nightlife is the setting for this sumptuous tale of sexual awakening in which Siv’s daughter Birthe is torn between her feelings for an ambitious young African American doctor and his uninhibited sister.

Chocked full of extras, the Blu-ray and DVD editions include a full color liner notes booklet with new essay by film critic Tim Lucas, a commentary by film critic Tim Lucas, the I, a Woman Part II theatrical trailer, the I, a Woman Part II outtake reel and promos for the first two volumes in the Racy Reels series, Cries of Ecstasy, Blows of Death / Invasion of the Love Drones and Female Chauvinists / Hot Connections.

Prince and the Nature Girl (DVD)
Year produced: 1965
Directed by Doris Wishman

Trash film-maker extraordinaire Doris Wishman’s final and most sought-after entry in the Nudist Exploitation genre!

An attractive and successful businessman named Prince takes an interest in the blond half of a pair of newly hired identical twins. The girls, Eve and Sue, are polar opposites – Eve, the blonde, is lazy and uninhibited while Sue, the brunette, is hardworking and demure. Captivated by Eve, Prince is over the moon when he runs into her that weekend at his favorite nudist camp. A light flirtation ensues, with neither realizing that stay-at-home Sue is helplessly in love. When Eve leaves to attend a friend’s wedding, Sue embarks upon a deception that will change their lives forever.
